After Care:
Keeping your tattoo clean is imperative for a smoother healing process, and nice looking results!
I recommend keeping it simple;
⁃ Keep your sheets clean. If you have pets try to keep them out of bed while your tattoo is healing!
⁃ Wash your hands first, but wash your tattoo two or three times day with a non-scented hand soap. Dial gold is a go to for me!
⁃ After a couple of days and its started to feel dry and itchy, start using a non scented lotion!
⁃ I do not recommend using A&D for healing, but if it’s all you have use a small amount.
⁃ Shower how you normally would, just do not apply scented soap directly on your tattoo.
⁃ Stick to showers. Do not submerge your tattoo in water, whether that be that bath tub, or swimming.
⁃ No tanning beds. And if you can , keep your healing tattoo out of direct sunlight for long periods of time.
⁃ Some scabbing/ flaky skin is normal when healing, do not pick at them or pull them off.
⁃ If for any reasons you have a question about how your tattoo is healing shoot me an email, and I’ll do my best to give you an answer!
